Some cars have the button on the stlk and some don't. Mine doesn't. Your car's had the stalk for the trip computer fitted but with no trip computer. From memory (I was only in the car an hour or so ago!) the central locking button does have a red dot on it to indicate which way to press it to lock the doors, it isn't supposed to light up. If it is then mine doesn't light up either.
