Thumbs up Playing videos when driving

Now I know the dangers of this, but it would be really useful to keep my little darlings entertained !

I've just bought a Renault Megane Dynamique S Nav and noticed the videos on the R-Link cannot be played while the car is moving. Is there any way around this ?

Many thanks

Damien

Only by breaking the law.
Can't play videos within driver's eyesight

The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986, regulation 109 (as amended) if you are interested.

hi

Wondering why you want to play videos in a car ?

What's wrong with looking out of the windows at the beautiful scenery, playing I spy reading sign posts or on a journey following the route on a map, listening to the radio or having a conversation. My little ones (20+ years ago) always took a colouring / reading book or puzzles to do if they wanted. .

When driving across Europe (in 'old Girl') we would practice the language of each country we passed through and translate the signs
or convert the Km's both speed and distances into miles etc easy maths practice for the holidays (LOL wife still cannot convert litres to gals ! kids always correcting her !)

Re: Playing videos when driving

Thank you for your replies gentlemen.

Like I said, I am aware of the dangers and the law (I'm sure we all drive to the speed limit all the time)

I have 6 yr old autistic twins and although we have a range of strategies to keep them amused, I just wondered if there was a way to add this one to it.

Many thanks

Do yourself a favour and try keep points off your license and invest in something like this

https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/?iid=222293...9452563&chn=ps

It is easier to take it apart than to put it back together
