£250 is a little different to £45k!!!
I watched one of the "A car is born" series where he built a AC Cobra replica, Then needed the running gear for the V8 lump iirc.
Yes I watched those, all of them except the plane is born one.
What concerned me about the Cobra he did was that he went for a 5.7(ish) Chevvy V8, then used the Sierra propshaft, diff and drive shafts to put the power to the road. Err? If he'd uprated them in some way he never said so on the telly!
£45K for the car and plate seems pretty decent to me, even for a Sierra. Well, it's not a 1.8LX is it?
