IFFF you have not attacked the wheel cylinder yet,

Undo the pins holding the wheel cylinder to the back plate.
Pull the wheel cylinder forward, ( BE careful not to damage the pipe, or flexi, )
Hold the brake pipe end, and unscrew the wheel cylinder,, (It is easy with the hub off)
I find taking the pistons of the wheel cylinder out, and putting an extension bar through the centre of the wheel cylinder, and then using an extension bar/screwdriver as a lever, just to initially loosen it.

I think, aesthetically, car design is so interesting - the dashboards, the steering wheels, and the beauty of the mechanics. I don't know how any of it works, I don't want to know,
