High Level Brake Light/Tailgate

After a rear end shunt I got my Laguna back complete with new tailgate.

However I have noticed that the high level brake light that fits into the boot lip is slightly loose, and can be pulled about quarter of the way out.

How does this fit into the tailgate? Is it held in by clips? Can it be secured from the outside of the tailgate, or does the internal panel have to come off to tighten it?

If it isn't too big a job I would do it myself. Anything fiddly and it's going back to the garage who carried out the accident repair, as it should have been fixed properly in the first place, but I can't really afford to have the car off the road for a relatively minor thing.
