The PAS on the mk2b punto is electronic, and therefore had no pump as such. Its a very common failing point on the punto. When the city button is pressed, a green light saying City should come on...does it come on? IS there a red light on that looks like a steering wheel?
The orange light sounds like it may be the EOBD light...does it look like an engine?
The power steerng may be a the motor or torque sensors, or possibly even the PAS
, in which case you will need a whole new column as its built into it. That will come in at around £600.
