From the research I've done the OhNo! Diag for Renault sounds like a good fault identifying software but I stuck on which OBD reader (cheapest) I should buy to correct the parking brake fault on my Renault Grand Scenic 1.9dci (2004).
OhNo Can reset these, IF YOU PAY THEM. But the software is Picky about which ELM 327 one has. I was lucky enough to have it when it was free :grin2: & not needed it since.
Luckily its only £1.50 to use this extra feature on the OhNo! app. Do you know which ELM327 reader works with it or do you recommend an alternative software and reader to identfiy and correct my parking brake fault?
I Have the ELM 327 WiFi (NOT Bluetooth) which seem more reliable.
Always buy one which comes with Software, as they are more likely to be the good ones. Think V 1.5 is the one to go for. Some have bought a few before finding a compatible one. IMHO some are Chin3se copies of the Original chin3se model, if that makes sense?
The iPhone, iPad , and iPod continue to be very popular ways of interfacing to the ELM327.
A word of caution – the Bluetooth that Apple uses in iOS devices does not currently support the Serial Port Protocol (SPP). As such, iOS devices can not connect to ELM327 modules with Bluetooth – you must use WiFi with your device*.
