someone with similar issues last week tried that last week and his wheel almost fell off on the motorway.
It needs a new bearing pushed into hub.
The two rings (plus the needles in the middle) form a solid assembly that can rotate but not slip apart unless Renault have done something particularly clever... which I doubt.
that was me, this is the second new bearing fitted now. do i really need a third!?!?
this is really starting to get to me.
