Could poewrboy or anyone else confirm the bearing type for me.... cos the thought of a bearing falling apart and being pushed back together worries me.

From what I have managed to find it seems to be a back to back tapered roller design with a two part inner.
If that is the case, the inner parts cannot be pushed through the bearing but could be pulled out either end.
Same as the old Timken Taper Rollers that used to be common in a back to back design.

If so, apologies for worrying you, it can probably be pushed back in and the nut retains.... needs to be tightened to correct torque.

If not that design, I'm still worried.
