AFAIK pedal sinks for one of 4 reasons.
Leaks.... from a piston or pipe
Air in system
Internal leaks, such as master cylinder
Piston, caliper or brake pad/shoe seized so not moving freely and not hitting a hard stop.

Take your pick and any you haven't checked.

Triggering ABS..... not sure on Can Clip but classic way is to find a safe road in the wet and apply a heavy foot.
