Ive had a faulty number plate light before and the voice synth does indeed tell you when it is faulty. That was intermittent too.... one day she (the car) would nag me and the next day she wouldnt. I changed the bulb in the end. Im sure the voice synth said "fault with number plate illumination" though not the sidelights .... she was very specific if I remember

Strangley though the voice synth didnt tell me when one of my Xenon bulbs stopped work not long ago....
