The battery was the sealed type and the alternator is ok it was just that the battery was faulty but I hate to think what would have happened if it had been left for a couple of more weeks, (why did they put the ecu there) . There is no water in the fuse box I just think it was a faulty connection as the car has been running fine ever since. I have noticed that you can remove the fuse box by taking out the screw next to the fuses, If it does the same again I will take it out and see if I can find the problem but at the moment Iwill leave well alone.
