Hi katie,

Are you sure that you havent got a slow puncture in that tyre ? ......and you say you have checked the tyre pressures, did you do this when the tyres were cold (ie before driving it any distance, say for more that 10 mins). Tyre pressures rise when the tyres are warm you see.

Also, you can get the system deactivated on the car, but then it wont tell you the pressures of the tyres on startup and therefore wont tell you when you have a puncture. I've disabled the system on my car as it was a cheaper option that buying new tyre monitoring valves and getting them programmed by Renault.

The dealer I used would only de-activate the system once I had a letter from my insurance company saying this it was OK for them to do so. I think Renault dont want to be held responsible incase someone has an accident because they disabled the tyre pressure monitoring system.
