Everything was fine until a couple of days ago when I noticed that the headlamps are aiming way too low.
I looked on previous posts to try to find the problem and have checked the actuating arms on the n/s suspension front and back, these seem to be ok and the wiring is intact. The light units do actually move when the ignition is switched on but don't set at the correct height.
We have had torrential rain, could this have affected the electrics? Hope somebody can help.

Also on a different subject, would I have any problems changing the engine oil myself,or would the computer detect a lack of oil pressure when restating and shut down.

Sounds like one of the sensors has gone faulty.

If you can, try removing the arms from the front and rear in turn and move them by hand whilst having some one watch the headlamp aim.

BTW when you turn the ignition on do the lamps move down or up. Mine move briefy down then back up.

The rear sensor is just that but the front one contains a computer. If you replace either you'll need to get the system reset and adjusted.
