How hard can it be?

Hi, I have just discovered that one of the shoe linings on my '02 renault clio has come adrift. I found out because the one rear wheel kept 'locking' & when i removed the drum out fell a lining. How easy is it to replace these shoes? What would I need to consider?
I am fairly mechanically minded and i'm currently restoring a '76 mg midget. Please bear in mind that I have just broken my left arm so only have use of my right (I am right handed). If it's going to be difficult would I cause any major damage to the drum if I drove it to a garage about 3/4 mile away?
