The system seems to be a bit temperamental especially during large temp changes - especialy during a cold snap when the air in the tyres contracts. Always ensure you are using the correct pressures as the system reacts to either over or under inflation. The sytem isn't there to detect blow outs but to warn of changes which may affect the roadholding and braking - with modern ABS systems this can be critical. Dies your car have alloy wheels
