I have to agree with previous posters...the C/L sensor should be in the roof console.........but thats only what the info I have tells me.
The early Renaults were easy to see where the sensor was as they had a magic red eye,but the later type aren't so easy to spot.
If you've changed the Batteries in the fob and the remote has suddenly stopped working,then either the key needs re-programming to the car,or the batteries you have fitted are faulty.
