You can do it the manual way with the allen key, however its best to have it reinitialised on the computer, so it gets set up with the sensors on a level load, but to be honest I'd be tempted to just turn them up manually.
Im thinking if you turn them to level now, and the computer is thinking the car is say on a slant, if it then ever tries to compensate for this and moves the motors a fair way, theres a chance they could damage the sockets. Doing it on the diagnostics will tell the computer the car is level, adjust the motors to a midway position, and you can then set the lights with the allen key.
