It closes OK but there's a slight bit of play when closed and the bonnet needs "pulling down" a few millimetres. (If I push down on the bonnet when it's closed I can still move it down a bit more.)

Main problem is that the alarm sensor isn't closed when the bonnet's down.

I can pack the rubber part in the bonnet so that the sensor in the engine bay is fully closed, or I can disable the sensor completely but I'd prefer to pull the bonnet down those extra few mm.

Any help would be appreciated.
Car is a 2010 laguna initiale estate (sport tourer) Dci
If you take the front shield/trim off, the part visible as you open the bonnet, that covers the locking catch,
There are two pins/ bolts that secure the catch, these should allow you to adjust the free play.

WORD of warning, dont put the cover back on until you have checked the bonnet can still be opened after adjustment.
