Oh NO...this will put the computer into Test Mode cycle...happened to me had to pull the battery!
Hi, I'm new here - I came looking for info on how to reset the service counter following a service by a small independant garage who didn't reset it.
Anyway, I tried following the "press the right stork button until the 'change
soon' message appears and hold the button for 15sec" but it did not work, so I turned on the ignition - it frightened the life out of me as it went into 'mode test', the lights coming on and off, and the dials stepping up and down, and nothing I did seemed to end it!
Anyway I would like to report that the 'mode test' does end after 15-20 mins - no need to pull the battery.
Also I found that the service reset is done by holding the small trip reset button not the stork button - problem sorted.
All the best - keep up the good work all.
