Mine was a 1977 Renault 5. Every body panel was a different colour red. If you reved it too hard the clutch slipped and filled the cabin with smoke. If the heater was on - it smelt like curry!
Once I passed my test I bought my very first car - Renault 5 GT
in Artic White with red carpets. Beautiful, even if the sunroof leaked and poured water in your lap on the first corner. Oh, and the terrible high-compression starting problems of course!
A turbocharger is an exhaust gas-driven compressor used to increase the power output of an internal-combustion engine by compressing air that is entering the engine thus increasing the amount of available oxygen. A key advantage of turbochargers is that they offer a considerable increase in engine power with only a slight increase in weight.
First Renault was a 2000 Scenic RXE. Had major electrical problems recently, so traded it in for a 2002 Scenic Privilege Monaco. They were both 2.0 litres but the old one was an automatic, and seemed to have more poke than the manual one we've got now.
