While there isn't much of a
should mean you get good shove from 2-3.5k revs.. with an
that is stuck open the
won't be running full boost and as its such a common problem your best bet is almost always to check the
first... Take the engine cover off and have a gander - the solenoid body of the valve pokes into the intake manifold at the front toward the right and has a plug connected to it and its connected to the manifold with three bolts. On the 2.2 its quite tricky to get access to the third bolt. I used plugas and a knock with a punch to loosen it. Don't twist the solenoid hard as it can break and leave the other half stuck in the manifold. Clean with carb cleaner and a tooth brush; plus there are some hard to reach ports and channels that should be cleaned as best as possible - search the forum for those pics and loads more info.
