Re: Difference between Scenic v Grand Scenic

The grand scenic is slightly longer and heavier and has a larger boot with the seats down. Pretty much everything else is the same. Being a 1.5 neither are particularly quick, but they're certainly not slow either. I've got a 2011 auto grand scenic and it's pretty nippy and good on fuel. The 7 seats are a bonus if you've got kids who are always asking if friends can tag along too. The mk3 scenics are generally more reliable than the mk2s from what I can make out, probably due to less age and wear and advancement in technology too.
My grand scenic feels well built and is very comfortable on long journeys, I have no qualms in recommending one to anyone.
Hope this helps
