just thought i'd say hi

i've just bought a 2.2dci with 45k on the clock and apart from the really dirty person who had it before me and it took 2 days to clean the car inside, underside and outside! i'm loving it

but my dad's got a 2.0T with 15k (actually it says 8k but its had new dials!) and that is factory fresh!

quite a collection esp with my other 1/2's megane 225

an interesting collection of bums!

i use'd to work for renault, but i believe we don't talk about renault docs on here -but i do have them all for the vel satis if they are of any use to anyone

Thumbs up another happy owner

Had my Vel Satis 2.2dci since last October, it had sone 97000 miles then and has done 115000 now, I love it, average 43mpg. Only costs so far have been on a couple of doses of injector cleaner to cure a mile smoking habit, a set of wiper blades, the service today oh and ouch a full set of conti tyres at 550!!!

The only issue I have is the air con stopped working a couple of weeks ago, today I bought a recharge kit from Halfords but it does not seem to have the correct attachment on the hose so looks like it has to go to a garage. Apart from that the car is holding up very well, does not look or drive like a 100K plus car.

My one regret.........I should have looked for a 3.0dci as I now wish I had an auto...anyone wanna swap??!!

I have no idea but we may be able to persuade Renault to give us a full explanation

I read in the paper over the weekend that 2 jags has applied for a position in the European parliament. His transport, when in Strasborg would be a Vel Satis.

I'm very sorry to give you VS owners this news - your residuals will fall quickly again! I think Renault actually styled the rear on his fat ar$e!!

Let's hope he doesn't get the job......

If he does - there goes the neighbourhood... (maybe he'll sign up to the forums?)

Its maybe me - but he always advocated the use of public transport - yet he appears to want a Carbon Footprint in proportion to the size of his Carbon Caboose - hypocritical or what?

I wouldn't want to be the chauffeur - he would make a Stretch Lincoln feel claustrophobic...

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
