Thanks for the pointers on the doorcards, J.

My dealer got nowhere with the knock. The last suggestion was to strip and rebuild the entire back axle, but I declined, having no desire to find myself with a bill for around 700 and a knock. I'm going to have a grovel underneath tomorrow.

Mine makes the noise if you rock it from side to side when stationary. Try and get someone to do it while your underneath??

I dont mond the original stereo, plus its part of the sat nav so cant change it. I just find that theres absolutely NO bottom end. The sound from my phone has more bass!!

I dont expect loads from such a small speaker but some to balance the sound out would be nice. Wonder if the new speakers might sort this out.

I fitted another set of the Pioneer speakers in the back, and was hugely irritated to find that they blurr and boom just as much as the ones I took out! I guess you must be right about the mounting being useless. I'm going to take a door card off again next weekend and see if I can't figure out a fix.

Hi Fred - you could try mounting the spakers on a small strip of foam tape (the same stuff used for draught proofing or even try to add a few extra holding down screws.

Door cards removal & sticking windows

Just read Jamesyboy5593's instructions to remove door cards. Thought great, this will help.
Problem, I do not appear to have a 'silver plastics part' at the top of my grab handles. I have a Initiale with electric windows but I thought this was fairly standard trim wise with all VS's? The top of my grab handles are grey plastics and incorporate the window switch. Can (James or anyone) cast a little more light on this matter please?
I want to get my n/s window opening and closing smoothly I have to keep flicking switch to get it to work at present and I will be needing it to work properly to pay all the tolls when I next go to France!
Has anyone had similar problems with their windows?
