Strange Noise When Accelerating
Hope everyone is well.
Since I mad my waterfall in the passenger footwell, which has now dried out to my satisfaction, I'm sure I can hear a faint noise on acceleration, which may be totally unrelated.
It's not a whirring, not really, but it's coming from the front nearside corner and is a very faint noise, perhaps best described like someone in another room being head pouring sand from a bucket. Might it be something that's cracked and letting air out? The engine feels and sounds fine, it's just this very faint sound, kind of muffled and not noticable to any passengers except me, which is kind of driving me crazy and making me take my foot off the gas as much as possible. Maybe it's just that the car's getting less quiet as it's getting older, as panels widen, thing wear etc...
