Yeah, the popping's not a concern as is it just that...a 'pop'...not a dirty great big bang
Mine currently is running at 1000rpm at idle when it's cold yet later when the engine is warmer it runs at about 650rpm which I believe is about right.
She started, again, first time this morning even with the temperature at -3.7 degree's C yet when I drove home and switched off, twenty minutes later when the engine had cooled down some (about 1/5th of the way up on the temp guage) she was a real ***** to start again
The stalling I can handle, it's just the starting that's the problem. Originally when she started stalling I could start her up again with no problem, it's just got worse over time.
I shall update you all here after the diagnostics.
