Check your pads are free in the calipers and calipers are moving freely.
Mickey could well be right and this is a function of rust when standing too long but that it is worse on inside then out makes me wander if everything is moving freely?
Pads, caliper slides?
Worth an overhaul/service of brakes before investing in new bits IMO.
Whether new discs are needed depends on how bad the pitting is, getting things freed up and a few days use may well sort it.
A good rub over with wire wool may well hasten things along.
Does want sorting though, brakes are your best friends.
Hi thanks for the reply. Breaks are not something I like to mess about with so I've ordered a new set of discs and pads and its booked in with my Renault specialist. I'm thinking maybe the inner piston isn't working rite and not been clearing the rust off from rain etc? I give it a good run once a week so it shouldn't be pitted like that surely? Everything is moving freely only thing It used to do is make like a rubbing noise for the first few minutes then when I had used them a few times it would go away. Just very odd it's only on the inside hence why I didn't notice until I took it for its weekly spin this week and the breaks started feeling like they are warped and noises under breaking.
