My first car was a F reg Seat Malaga - the Spanish version of a Fiat Regatta saloon. Had a 'System Porsche' engine and was I the dogs watsits! Shame about the tin foil thick body work clearly not designed for British roads.... and the electrics.... when I traded it in the horn button worked the washer jets! Got a £100 towards a mk3 Astra for it though. Even though it was poor the Seat was my first car and I hold fond memories - bet you can't find one now anywhere.
I don't think it matters how poo your first car was, it'll always hold a dear place in your heart
Even as a kid in the 80's I thought that the Porsche reference was a load of b******'s!
