The GPS portion of the aerial was busted. Had the entire rear right quarter of the boot off to see if it was a broken cable or duff connector. Got a replacment aerial of eBay for £15 incP&P, plugged it into the connector in theboot and all went green in seconds. Now have the aerial stuck on the windscreen next to mirror (cable hidden in head lining and pillar) plugged directly into the glove box unit. Am getting good reception so cant see a point in paying the extra to get it back, ready to fail again.
Nice one - I'm looking to fix a dead screen - rulled out the screen so far (?) as a replacement didn't work; next onto the glove box unit ...
