I currently drive a Ford Transit SWB,and I'm looking at buying a Renault Master.
I just need to know The pro's and con's from existing owners.
I am looking at buying the new model(available here in Oz in about 3 months)

I cant say for the master but I am on my third trafic
first 1 a 06 1.9 swb with 157.000 on the clock written of near Avenel Victoria 8 months ago with 270,000 on the clock
Second a 09 SWB with 122,000 on the clock now 170.000 and going strong
Third I just got last week 2013 LWB fully optioned 2800k,s yep 2800 on the clock deceased estate
I am giving the SWB to my business partner who originally said I was an idiot for buying a Renault and should have bought a Toyota
I am 6,3 tall and have had transits in the past loved the way they drove and plenty of room for the driver
But just couldn't get past the prices for them second hand and how they looked like they where totally abused and thrashed
Snapped up the first trafic a 1.9 which had been owned by a young cop in Sydney and only used to take his dirt bike into the bush on weekends it was fully lined with carpet except the floor rubber mat
The thing drove fantastic my business partner laughed at me and said i was crazy should have bought a Toyota then after nearly 100.000 k,s and no trouble and he drove it a few times he changed his mind
He now wants the SWB and is going to sell his 2010 top of the range diesel triton crew cab and use the trafic (OH how the mighty have fallen LOL)
I would love a master drove a few of my mates ones a few years ago loved the size and economy but I need to go into underground car parks quite a bit so the trafic was the natural choice
Only complaint with the Renaults are the seats
I am 6,3 and 120KG they are rubbish but so are all the commercial seats no matter what brand
I installed a set of leather 94 mechanical BMW 5 series seats with fold down armrests perfect fit grey leather look like factory can drive all the way from QLD to Sydney no acches or pains and the BMW sets cost me $300 and $150 to fit and they will be pulled from the SWB and installed into the LWB
I also installed a flash tune on all of the vans switch of the egr and give them a bit of oomph also fitted a external air oil separator called a provent 200 from Mann hummel in the crankcase vent line just for engine longevity as the vans will see huge k,s in my ownership as
I have 2 shops in Melbourne 1 in Sydney and live in QLD on the Gold coast and travel regularly between them all
