Re: renault master front wheel bearing removal

all those wanting to change their bearings,
here is my advice on how to.
for masters -99/2000
these have the brake disks mounted behind the axle stub, so have to be wound off with a special tool to change them or alternatively, you can press them out but it takes skill and care not to damage the threads on the wheel nut stubs.

the brake disks are easy to change, the bearing removal is the same as above, use a tool to wind the hub out of the bearing carrier to then press the bearing out.

I have used oxy acetalene before to burn the bearing out, if the hub will not wind out with the tool.

If any one wants a hub with bearing for an older master, (upto 99/2000) with good disk, I have a pair on my van i am breaking, 40 each + postage or collection from norwich.
