hi chinagas if u have an indicated electronic incident light ON
find out it's fault code first before clearing any DTC's (detected trouble codes) they usually indicate a faulty sensor but if you have a speedo acting like a rev counter it's very likely to be associated with a broken cable as discussed above this can also bring on the electronic incident light giving you false sensor indications, it's cheaper to check for broken cable's at this stage than replacing sensors falsely indicated as I found out to my own cost!! hence the reason for passing on as much experienced fault finding as possible as this particular fault took me 8 months and over 300 quid to find a broken cable please check carfully kind regards
