When I looked the choice was a) cut wires and pay 20 ( eBay ), or b) Don't cut wires and pay 65 (e.g. at GSF). Since I was buying two, the choice was obvious.

If you cut the four wires at different lengths so the joints aren't all in the same place you can do a very neat job. Soldering highly recommended.

One odd thing though is that the resistance figures quoted in Haynes differ between front and rear sensors. The sensors on eBay are 'universal' and I wondered whether this would cause a problem on the computer, but from my experience it seems not. (2001 Clio 1.4)
