Absolutely lost: Steering wheel controls
I've just bought a Kenwood stereo (KDC-W6537U) with the optional bluetooth and iPod adapters, and what would be even better than those two would be to get the steering wheel controls working.
There seem to be a bewildering number of different adapters on
that claim to do that but most are vague about which models they suit or claim that they only work with Lagunas from 04/97 (mine is 01/97) so I have no idea what I need...
I gather that the little screen at the top of the dash would have done something with the OEM stereo too, though I don't know because the car came without one... I'm not too fussed about getting that working, although my stereo does claim 'sub-LCD output' for such purposes.
