Re: Megane Parking / Hand Brake Cable Problem

Thanks - that's really helpful. I couldn't move the lever's on the calipers by hand but then again, I only put my hands through the alloys so couldn't get a lot of leverage on them. I'll have to investigate the levers on my day off which will be sometime next week now.

If it is the lever's that are sticking, can they be free'd off of will the caliper's need replacing? If the cables are stretched, should I get genuine cables or will the likes of QH do?

With the adjuster nut, the exposed thread has to be 22mm or 16mm (IIRC) depending on which coloured balancer is fitted - i'll measure this up and adjust it for the time being, but that means removing the armrest again!
