Sorry to disagree but as a renault after sales manager i have to point out the correct answer to your question.
99% of renault dealers in the uk are operating under a franchise agreement with renault uk. renault uk has no access to dealer systems as far as servicing goes so no service book=large headache to try and track history down. the only exception to this is if your vehicle was serviced at one of the rrg(renault retail group/renault uk) sites as these are all owned by renault uk then any rrg site can see history for all works carried out at rrg sites ,the same way i have access to the 4 other site in our group.
