Hello and welcome to the forum.
The load valve on the rear would be prime suspect,but the usual problem is that the arm on them seizes.If this happens,then it should be picked up on the MOT,so it might be seized internally.
I'd start by checking the basics(rear cylinders and shoes for correct operation),and if all seems well with them,I'd check the load valve.
I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
