Yes you can use a 2nd hand pump but best to get one with the same numbers if you can.... ebay etc.

The ABS problem is normally with the black box ( ECU ) part of the pump, so to save a lot of hassle and a lot of lost brake fluid just change the ECU part.

Have a read of the thread'll see that I changed the full pump...but others tried just changing the ECU part and it fixed the problem.

Please take the time to enter your vehicle details in the "What's current in your garage?" box.

To do this:
Hover over the "TOOLS" tab at the top of the page
> then in the dropdown click on "User Dashboard"
> click on "Edit Your Details" at the top Left hand side.
> scroll down to the "What's current in your garage?" box and enter your vehicle details.
> Once the details are entered scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes"

> Done.
