Clutch and brakes share the same reservoir.
So a leak in one will lose fluid and light the low level light.
Which is all the brake warning light is.

I rather think you have just found your leak, clutch slave cylinder or pipes to it.
Gearbox has to come out if the slave.
So get a new clutch friction and spring plate in at same time, added cost is little compared to the labour.
Which is same anyway.
Check if you have a DMF (Double mass flywheel) as worth swapping that as well if it comes to worst.
