The Megane 1 Phase 1's never had self levelling lights. The adjuster switch is above and next to the fuse box - there's also a coin tray there if you don't have the dashboard dimmer. The adjuster switch is part of a pop out panel. I wonder if the blank panel on a car without headlight adjustment is popped out the wires to adjust the lamps electrically will be there. Just a guess really
@Azurael - I've seen a couple of others from this forum being unable to get manuals for there car from My Renault. It seems they don't want to provide them for all cars for some reason.
It's a shame you can't just specify a generic one for your type of car.
