Anyone have a list of the under bonnet fuse box and relays.
Yours is the simple type. It won't be a fuse as the same supply feeds the adjustment motors.

If both mirrors won't unfold and you have checked the switch then it must be a wiring or connector fault.

Pins 1 & 10 from the switch are the two wires involved. The voltage across these swaps when the switch is operated (from +12v to -12v).

The two wires go directly from the switch to the connector in the drivers door between the door loom and the car.

Pin1 from the switch should go to pin C1. Pin 10 should go to pin B7.

The wires for the drivers door are then taken from the back of this connector.

Given that the problem occured when you left the car (I assume by opening the drivers door), I guess one of the wires from the switch has come detatched at the drivers door connector.

Hope that is some help.
