Thanks Noel. I've had to remove the trim and give another coat of paint as I could just about see some primer showing through. All good now though

I ended up just putting some masking tape over the lettering and carefully cutting arround all the letters. Took me a while and as I don't have a very steady hand

I must say though, I only had a Stanley knife to hand and have made some slight scratches in the plastic but nothing that shows unless you get your face right up close.

Definately think it looks better with the lettering chrome ontop of the red. I'll post another picture showing the trims attached later
