Hi I have a Scenic II and a couple of days ago, I noticed one of the stop lights wasn't coming on during braking. Obviously tried a new bulb (combined rear/stop type) same result: rear light OK, but no brake light. Swapped with bulb from other side (working), still no stop light. It was definitely working up to a few days ago.
I am suspecting something like a bad circuit in the bulb cluster? Is it possible to check/clean/replace this part without getting whole rear assembly? Many thanx.
Make sure the contacts in the cluster are clean and shiny and are making good contact. This seems to be a common problem with most household lights I've sorted and should probably be the first thing on your list to check.
