I found a 20cc plastic hypodermic syringe (less needle - about 50p from a pharmacy) was useful. Fill with water, butt up to the blocked jet and squeeze to flush the jet through backwards.
Disconnect the pipe from the bottom of the jet, otherwise you get an eyeful of screenwash coming back at you out of the other jets
and you might only shift the blockage from one jet to another.
