Thought I had better update my previous reply! If you have an airbag, you have to disconnect the battery, and leave it at least 5 minutes, forgot to mention that.
Also, to get the facia top off, you need to remove the A post trims to the sides of the windscreen. These just prise off.
Also the steering wheel shrouds. Upper one - 2 screws near the steering wheel, underside, pointing down. Look up with a torch, cannot remember if they are crosshead or torx.
Then one screw near the steering height adjustment lever to remove the lower shroud if necessary.
There are also 2 screws below the instrument panel that you need to remove to get the upper facia panel off.
Think that is the lot!
