Re: Clio 2 1.5 DCI - high mileage - worth spending money on?

Twodogs, you helped on my last problem, so thanks again, buddy!

My logic is if I can get it through an MOT and get 12,000 miles out of the car, then maybe it's worth the 1300-ish quid (assuming nothing else goes wrong). I guess that's the gamble - is that daft to think like that?

The history seems to be a bit spotty - no mention of the wheels being fitted but the tyre replacment is noted and the tracking was done, so I'd assume someone previously noticed that the spigots had gone. The wheels are 15" rims and the tyres all the same size. Guys at the garage said to source spacers for 6.5J 4-stud wheel.

I've been reading mt Haynes manual and watching some youtube vids, and acquring tools aside, sorting out the rack boot and wishbone alone aren't daunting to me - just need care and attention.

Cheers for the thoughts on the diagnostic test.
