Re: ABS Light on - Can't find problem Renault Clio

I would place my bet on some wire that you have smashed and trashed in between doing the repairs.

Does the ABS fault indicator light come on at which point? Instantly at turn-key? Wheels have to be rolling first? Steering wheel has to be turned?

If it is the "wheels have to be rolling" I would suspect a fault in the abs sensor circuit leading to the roadwheel.

Maybe there are 3 wires coming to the ABS sensor?
One wire is +12 V. Other is ground/car chassis. Third is the signal return to the ECU .
You can measure that one wire has continuity to car chassis and one has +12 V when the ignition is turned on. This will rule out 4 out of 6 possible broken wires. Although of course the problem could also be on the connector at the abs sensor's end of the wiring loom.
