Hi, I 've been having a similar problem.
Car starts fine but when I get to a junction or anywhere I have to slow down to stop, the electrical fault light came on and if I didn't rev straight away she would cut out out and die.
She would start straight away but wouldn't tick over - revs fluctuating from 0 to 1000 and the fault light still on until I revd.
It became more frequent to the point that I was terrified of the car.
I searched on here and found lots with similar problems, so tried all the things I knew I could do on my own, but didn't work.
So today took her to a small private garage in Cleckheaton who specialize in Renault.
He charged me 25 for the diagnostic check, this is what he reported:-

Diagnostic check shows fault code P0136
'O2 circuit, bank 1, sensor 2'

So he erased the fault code, then fit a new oxygen sensor.
Then a road test - all good.

He charged 123 for the sensor inc fitting, so overall 148.

The car drives like a dream, and gave her the ultimate stop start test - Asda on a friday just after school!

Hope this is of interest/use. Will post again if it isn't solved.
