Hi, I 've been having a similar problem.
He charged me £25 for the diagnostic check, this is what he reported:-
Diagnostic check shows fault code P0136
'O2 circuit, bank 1, sensor 2'
So he erased the fault code, then fit a new oxygen sensor.
Then a road test - all good.
Hope this is of interest/use. Will post again if it isn't solved.
Very interesting. I could easily be wrong but I think that the sensor 2 is the post-cat one which I don't think would create the symptoms you describe. Was it the pre or post cat sensor that was changed?
Still, whatever the theory, it's great that it's fixed!
